School group on Performing arts tour to Hollywood LA

Accommodation Selection

Please note that students are accommodated 4 to a room in two large double beds and adults are in twin bedded rooms. Under-occupied rooms are charged at a supplement. Meals are not included in the tour price.
Eating out is the norm and restaurants can be pre-booked.

Comfort Inn by the Bay, San Francisco
Well positioned within walking distance of Ghirardelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf, this hotel offers quad rooms with four students sharing double beds. Many of the rooms have spectacular views over the bay - all have en-suite facilities and cable tv. Continental breakfast is taken at the hotel.

Sportsmen's Lodge, Los Angeles
This lovely hotel is located in the heart of Studio City and directly on Ventura Boulevard with many shops and restaurants. The rooms are recently renovated, all-ensuite, and the hotel boasts an Olympic-size swimming pool.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Depart UK from London and fly to San Francisco; on arrival transfer to accommodation and enjoy some free time and evening meal

Day 2
4 Hour Guided Tour of San Francisco, visiting a variety of sights, followed by a guided trip to Alcatraz.
Evening Visit to a Theatre production – Currently showing for 2009 Wicked and Grease – this is likely to change for 2010.

Day 3
Check out of hotel in San Francisco and coach transfer to Los Angeles. Arrive at accommodation and enjoy some free time.

Day 4
Full Day excursion to Universal Studios – coach and admission included.

Day 5
Full Day Acting Workshop in West Hollywood – includes lunch, drinks and snacks throughout the day. The group will work with the tutor on craft tools within the acting world NEW San Francisco & Los Angeles and will obtain experience on the American perspective of theatre.
Evening Visit to a theatre production in the NoHo Theatre District.

Day 6
Tour of the Kodak Theatre and the Music Centre of LA – Including the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Take part in a TV studio audience. Visit the Hollywood Bowl.
Transfer to LAX for your return flight to the UK.
