The Festival is a true international event with participants not only representing their school, but their country at this special global event. With over 6,000 young athletes from all over the World attend the World Sport Festival in Vienna. No other event will enable your group to gain more global and international awareness than this event - it will truly be a sporting event every participant will remember for the rest of their lives.
As well as sporting events and tournaments there are daily events in and around the sport festival village, the opening ceremony forms an important part of the festival and every participant joins the parade in to the festival site. The players Party is held with live music and DJ’s

Entertainment in the Event Pyramid

In the centre of the World Sports Festival is The Event Pyramid. This is the base for the festival giving everyone the chance to try Sumo Wrestling (in suits!) bull riding, speedminton amongst many other fun activities. The Event Pyramid is also the location for the Player's Party, where in 2008 3,500 young athletes from 21 nations rocked to the live performance- a great way to finish the festival.
