With the peaceful surroundings of golden beaches and mesmerizing sea as well as easy access to many ancient and influential sites, Greece offers adventurous school groups the ideal setting to ignite their passion for outdoor pursuits.
This idyllic coastal location is situated in the North Peloponnese with activity areas on site and close proximity to several impressive sites including Patras, Corinth and Olympia. Travelling by coach, the lively city of Athens is just three and a half hours, where students will enjoy a visit to the enticing, epic sights of the Acropolis of Athens and an informative trip to the Archaeological museum.
Staff and students can relax with full board in beach side bungalows at this exceptionally safe and welcoming resort where amenities are conveniently located within walking distance of the hotel and activities involve robust operating procedures and full risk assessments.
Free-time is taken care of with a superb range of shops nearby and an array of evening entertainment within easy reach, including a barbeque and beach party to take advantage of after a long day of activities. A substantial choice of cultural excursions and sightseeing around Greece are also on offer. We recommend taking your school group to marvel at the unusual acoustics found in the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus; created in 4th century BC and comprising of 34 symmetrically built limestone seats, it amplifies high frequency sounds from the stage.
The typical Mediterranean climate of mild wet winters and hot, dry summers, makes Greece a year-round destination, however, we suggest visiting in May and Easter Half Term or throughout the summer when your school group can take advantage of more open air exercise.
