Alpine Venture in Colomendy

Set in 130 acres of forest surrounded by wide open spaces and mountainous terrain, the rugged natural surroundings of North Wales offers the perfect backdrop for school groups to enjoy their time together away from school grounds.

North Wales is an inspiring scenic, rural location with history, most prominent in the Middle Ages and reflected in its many medieval towns and castles spread throughout its vast pastures. Staff and students can relax with full board in this secluded, countryside resort where amenities are just a walk away from the resort and attractions such as Snowdonia National Park just a coach ride away.

With its maritime climate, the warmer months run from around April to September. We recommend visiting the resort in May and Easter Half Terms when the weather is warmer as there is a larger choice of outdoor activities during the summer. For a quieter stay with milder weather, both October and February Half Terms are also recommended.

Wider curriculum links: Offering superb adventure facilities alongside breathtaking landscapes, North Wales communicates a natural link between Outdoor Pursuits and other curriculum areas, including History, Geography, Geology and Physical Education.
