Dance in Platja d'Aro

Safe, inspiring and scenic, Platja d'Aro offers the ideal opportunity for students to ignite their passion for Dance beyond the school grounds in an exciting cultural setting.

Platja d'Aro occupies an enviable location on Spain's Costa Brava coastline, within easy reach of airports, Drama facilities and local attractions. Students will appreciate the proximity to Barcelona (a 90 minute drive), where they can experience a vibrant European city and visit expressionist works of art such as Gaudí's Sagrada Familia.

A typically-Spanish resort with superb Blue Flag beaches and a variety of shops and cafes, Platja d'Aro also offers excellent evening entertainment, such as a disco and karaoke bar and the Magic Park amusement centre, or the bowling alley is just a five minute drive away.

With its Mediterranean climate, this is a year-round destination, but we recommend visiting in May half-term or in the summer, when the weather is warm and the town is lively. For a quieter stay with milder weather, February, Easter and October half-terms are also good times to visit.

Wider curriculum links: Offering excellent Dance facilities alongside welcoming Catalan culture in an inspiring coastal location, Platja d'Aro communicates a natural link between Dance and other curriculum areas, including Languages, History, Geography and Physical Education.
