Dance in Berlin

A vibrant hub of cultural activity, both classical and contemporary, Berlin offers a superb environment for Performing Arts groups to enhance their skills.

Accommodation is offered on a full-board basis at one of Berlin's high-standard hostels with workshops held on-site or in nearby studios. Transport around the city is easy in your coach or using the highly efficient public transport system.

Capital of Germany, Berlin is rich in history spanning several eras. Visits to the Jewish Museum and Checkpoint Charlie are recommended to place the city in the context of past events. It may be possible to tour or take in a performance at the Berliner Ensemble, established by the famous practitioner, Bertolt Brecht.

The city offers a diverse selection of shopping areas including KaDeWe filled with designer brands; or at the other end of the price scale, there is a huge selection of flea markets that can be found throughout the city districts.

Wider curriculum links: Alongside enriching culture with an eclectic display of architecture and its chequered history , Berlin communicates a natural link between Dance, the Arts and other curriculum areas, including History and Geography.
