STS Pavilion Cup : Belgium

Under 13's Football Tournament
For over twenty years British schools have competed in our annual Belgium football tournament. This popular competition attracts teams each year and is organised and supervised by our experienced tournament coordinators. It is designed to offer schools a challenging and competitive experience overseas and always proves to be a fantastic schools event.

The tournament is open to all school teams and is run over three days. Teams compete on a league basis commencing with Group Stages played over the first two days. The third day is Finals Day when all teams play off and the group winners and runners up compete in the semi-finals and the final to decide the tournament winners. Groups will play an average of four games per day during the group stages and at least one game on Finals Day ensuring an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for every team. All teams play the same number of games so early elimination is avoided. Matches are played for twenty minutes each way with a ten minute half time break.

Matches take place at the Sports Centrum in Ghent, a perfect venue with plenty of grass pitches and excellent sports facilities. Pavilion Tours co-ordinators will referee most matches, but all competing schools must provide one referee to take charge of neutral games.

With a transfer time of just one hour from Calais, our tournament is easily accessible to all UK schools. Accommodation is available in a range of high-quality hostels and hotels to suit all budgets - please contact us for more details.
